Victoria earned a Bachelor of Arts in Dance, and graduated with summa cum laude from the University of California, Riverside. At UCR, she was a recipient of the Chancellor's Performance Award from the Marius de Brabant Scholarship Fund, received an Undergraduate Research Grant from UCR's Instructional Development Program, and was honored with the Academic Excellence Award in Dance. In addition to her awards, the Department of Dance selected her to become a member of the Gluck Fellows Program of the Arts. Victoria has studied under many renowned and notable choreographers including De-An and Linda Cotner, Wendy Rogers, Neil Greenburg, Kelli King, John Vaughan, James Bennett, Jo Dierdorff, Mark Haines, and Nancy Lee Abbate (1954 Mouseketeer). Victoria also studied choreography and musical theater at Riverside and Norco Community Colleges and was a principal dancer and dance captain in many notable shows as Cabaret, Little Shop of Horrors, Grease, My Fair Lady, and Once Upon a Mattress in which she received a Student of Distinction award for her dancing. She joined Born Dance Company in 2009, under the artistic direction of Dr. Won-sun Choi and was trained in Traditional Korean Mask Dance. In 2010, she performed three unique and vigorously long dance pieces with the company at the Ford Amphitheater in Hollywood. She has been teaching all styles of dance for over 18 years and LOVES working with kids!
