Megan grew up training in California for 10 years and quickly excelled to a high level of Classical ballet, Pointe, and Contemporary. Megan has trained with Bobby Amamizu, Roberto Almaguer, Rochelle Berwick, Gina Cerato, Kenneth Walker and many more professional artists.

 

In 2016, Megan began dancing for Riverside’s professional company, CODA (Company Of Dance Artists) following her dreams of a professional
career in Ballet. 

As of 2022, Megan dances professionally for Inland Dance Theatre. She has performed for many years including Soloist and Principal roles in Classical and Neoclassical Ballets. Performing roles such as The Nutcracker, Sugar Plum fairy, Dew Drop Fairy, Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. Kitri in Don Quixote. The Black Swan, Odile, In Swan Lake. The Mad Hatter in Alice Through The Looking Glass. 

 

Never missing an opportunity to be on stage. She also became well known in the competition community and competed for 9 years winning various awards such as various dance titles and dancer of the year awards. Megan was recognized for her classical technique at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in 2017, 2019, and 2021 winning top 12 in both the classical and contemporary categories. She has also taught and choreographed for 8 years; Choreographing pieces for YAGP, commercial competitions, and shows.

 

 Megan plans to continue teaching, judging, and performing as a guest artist to explore new paths in the dance world. Megan believes a well rounded dancer must learn to love the technical side of all styles of dance and looks forward to teaching many young artists to love and embrace their art.
