Jessica Emmons
Acro/Gymnastics
Jessica's journey in gymnastics began at the age of five at Majestic Gymnastics Training Center (MGTC), where she would go on to compete nationwide. Jessica practiced compulsory, acro and team gymnastics and was part of the marketing team, “performance team” at MGTC. At the ages of 10-12, she left public school to attend her gym’s, “Junior Olympic Home School program.” During summer breaks, she trained at the women’s gymnastics national team training center, Karolyi camp where thousands of gymnasts from around the world came to receive the best training available.
Transitioning to coaching at age 14, Jessica applied her personal experiences to create a nurturing and supportive environment for her athletes. She emphasized love, empathy, and hard work, focusing on building fundamental skills, mind-body connection, and healthy habits. Graduating from culinary school in 2012, Jessica's passion for healthy food and nutrition was driven by her experiences as a child athlete. This influenced her coaching philosophy, integrating nutrition with physical training.
Jessica is also a mother to two daughters, ages 5 and 10, who are active in gymnastics, ninja classes, dance, and cheer. Her daughters' involvement in these activities reinforces her commitment to developing the next generation of athletes. Jessica's career reflects her dedication to the sport, her holistic approach to athlete development, and her unwavering commitment to fostering a positive and empowering environment for young gymnasts.
